Great food. Best staff. Always on point. You won't be disappointed.
Came in from Pa. Saw you on the web and wanted some southern BBQ. Baked beans were the best I ever had. All the food was very good. We will be traveling this way again and will be sure to stop back.
Stopped in for dinner on my way home on a week night. It was full but not crowded. I found a clean table and was attended to promptly; I got my beverage and a menu within a minute or so. The waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items (I was super indecisive for some reason). I went with the fried green tomatoes (amazing; perfect batter with a nice crunch and the right thickness of both the tomato and the batter) and the cheeseburger and wings special (wings were perfectly done and the sauce was tasty; the burger was good and fries were excellent). I got a German Chocolate cake to go; it was like a sheet cake and was really, really good. 10/10, would go back. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful. My bill was around 21 or 23. Super reasonable prices. Excellent experience all around.
This is one of the best Hole in the wall restaurants you will find! And their steaks will compete against any steak house! Portions are huge! You get your money's worth. I didn't get a picture of my steak salad, but there was enough to feed 3 people!! The waitress all pitch in to make sure everything is ok. If one sees you need something, they get it for you instead of turning a blind eye.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the service! They are all incredible! Food is fantastic with a wide range menu. This area is so lucky to have this place. We love it!!
Great hometown/diner feel. The restaurant was clean and our server was pleasant and attentive. I ordered a cheeseburger with French fries and my husband ordered the burnt knuckle sandwich and he said it was delicious! Everything came out fresh and hot. They make their own ranch dressing and bbq sauce which we’re both fantastic.
Casual is an understatement when describing the ambiance here. As I always like to do when eating at a small town eatery, I checked the health rating - 94, so far so good. The place was spotlessly clean, not a spot of crumbs or any other signs of untidiness. This is a "sit wherever you like" restaurant so I grabbed a menu and headed to a table. I was quickly greeted by a friendly and smiling waitress. The staff seemed to genuinely enjoy working there, this is always a big deal with me, as a happy staff makes a place more enjoyable. So far, the small town eatery vide is intact.I was REALLY in the mood for country fried steak and not wanting to drive 20 miles to a well known chain, so I looked this place up and found they had it. Perusing the menu, I found just good ole' country eats. I ordered the steak, mashed potatoes with the same white gravy as the steak, and pintos. First, the steak cut with a fork, I was pleased so far. The first bite of everything was taken with apprehension and a fear of over use of salt. Happily, everything was spiced and cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed my meal and the overall experience. I have a new favorite eatery within 7 miles of home.
This was our first time eating here. Our appetizers were fried mushrooms and corn nuggets. The mushrooms were really good. The nuggets could have been a little tastier, but they weren't bad.I got the BLT w/fries - which was good. My daughter got a salad, fries, and okra. The okra were a little bland, but edible. There were many things to choose from on the menu. The atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant was clean. The bathroom was also clean. It's worth giving a try.
